Nine years ago Italian Vogue editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani (Rest in peace) and crew decided the July 2008 issue would feature All BLACK MODELS, legendary and up coming BLACK MODELS. This issue was amazing, I’ve always appreciated Italian Vogue for being diverse, and more creative than american VOGUE.
Naomi Campbell showed why she is arguably the most notable black female model of all time
While Tyra Banks reminded us of where it all started
America’s Next Top Model alum, Toccara Jones may have stole the show being featured in the most pages in the issue, photograghed by the legendary Steven Meisel.
